Pecky Cypress

Pecky Cypress is present in only 10% of all cypress species: full of oblong holes, similar to a stretched long sponge. Cypress trees grow primarily in swamps or swamp-like conditions, making them a softer wood. If left natural, it will carry some of the same hues as pine (light tan and honey). Applying a paint wash to the material can transform the color to any desired hue. We recommend Pecky Cypress for anyone who is desiring the warmth of wood with a more refined feel for their space.
