How is reclaimed wood priced compared to new wood?

Often times reclaimed wood is sold at a premium due to various reasons. Reclaimed wood has many costs associated with the salvaging of the lumber that is not present in new wood. There is also a much higher waste factor when manufacturing reclaimed wood in comparisons to new wood that accounts for a slightly higher end cost.

Will my floor cup?

Not if you buy it from us! All of our flooring material is kiln dried to meet standard suggestions as outlined by the National Flooring Association. Cupping occurs essentially from a change in the moisture level. We can help you identify a good installer to ensure that the room in which the floors are going in have been climate controlled and are ready for install!
